Out Shop Cancer (2025) – Out Shop Cancer is a month-long fundraising event held every October in Second Life to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. The event brings together creators, artists, and communities for shopping, a grid-wide hunt, contests, live entertainment, an Art Walk, and more — all with proceeds supporting breast cancer research, programs, and awareness. The 2025 theme is “Goth Darn-it! Let’s Find a Cure!”, blending gothic flair with the signature pink of breast cancer awareness. This unique theme highlights the strength, resilience, and hope of the fight against breast cancer, while creating an engaging and immersive experience for all who attend.
