Made By People Festival Event – Made By People Festival is the inaugural event by the in-world group Made By People. This event aims to celebrate Creative Works made by Real People, not Gen AI. We started off as a small group of creators, concerned with the emerging wave of Gen AI flooding Second Life with low effort products and creations, and decided to work together to promote works not created using Gen AI, to stand against this wave. We run notecard, Discord and Social promotions twice a month, but with this event, we are taking the first scary step towards an in-world event. We will vett each applicant for any use of Gen AI, but all creators are welcome to join us in this event; Humans, Furries, and anything in between!
Dates: September 10, 2026 to September 26, 2026 (Recurring Quarterly) [check website for any changes]
